WHY DID YOU CHOOSE THE SBB-TP PROGRAM?

My interests are in structural biology. The SBB-TP fit my interests quite well.

WHAT DO YOU LIKE ABOUT THE SBB-TP PROGRAM?

The SBB-TP programs offers lots of options to choose a lab, and provides strong research capacity in structural biology, as well as in other areas including cell biology, biochemistry, as so on.

WHAT IS COOL ABOUT YOUR RESEARCH?

I am using various techniques (like X-ray, Raman spectroscopy, electron paramagnetic resonance) to figure out how my protein works on a molecular level.

WHAT IS YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH THE FACULTY?

The faculty in the program is great. They are nice and provide useful information when you choose to join a potential lab. And they are also approachable to talk about your project, keeping you on the right track.

WHAT WAS YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGE?

The process to learn how to interpret the X-ray diffraction data and solve the bimolecular structure is challenging but I really enjoy this learning process.

WHAT IS STUDYING/WORKING AT CASE LIKE?

As a foreigner, everything was challenging when I first came here. But now things have become much easier and I really enjoy my life here. Case provides lots of opportunities to make life more diverse and colorful.
